If BLACK RABBIT (Netflix) had been written twenty or so years ago, it would have been a taut drama of beleaguered brotherhood set against the gritty backdrop of NYC’s criminal underworld, much in the vein of a James Gray film: dark, broody, a bit weepy and capped at two hours, max. But alas, it is 2025 and streamers’ commissions are funded by the hour……
