Really good writing does much more than it says on the tin, considerably exceeding the Ronseal promise.  A selection of so very few words can contain a whole universe of ideas and people, just like the Arquillian Galaxy on the collar of the cat in MEN IN BLACK or e. e. cummings and his purloined plums.
