Ah, the British summer holiday, eh?  What a wonderful and entirely nonsensical thing we do as a people, collectively travelling from the best weather we’re ever likely to see in the UK to excruciatingly inhospitable heat in a foreign land at extortionate cost to ourselves, financially and (often) otherwise.
